Shop inspection process
When proforma invoice (PI) and purchase order (PO) issued by the supplier and purchaser, that means both parties have agreed price, technical specification, data sheet and commercial terms and condition, etc. After this key milestone, the supplier prepare for starting manufacturing process. However, before manufacturing, supplier will submit Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and procedure documents to purchaser to review, both parties need to determine Hold witness points (H point), On-site witness points (W point) and document witness points (R point), at H, W and R points the supplier will notify the purchaser inspector for shop inspection and testing or surveillance visit inspection. Once the inspections are satisfied, inspection release note will be issued.
